This is me in 2015, pre-successful digital shop.
Not only have I gotten older and wiser, but I also know that this version of me was stressed out, feeling like she was just cruising into failure.
I had created my first contract templates, and I thought they’d sell like hotcakes. Or McRibs, I guess. They did not, though. That sucked. Hard.
But if I could tell 2015 me anything, it would be that part of that struggle is how I got where I am today, and it gets better… because I kept going.
The key difference between these two pictures is experience (OK and years, duh). There’s something TOTALLY different about how you approach your 6,048th sale than you do the first 100.
For one, those first 100 sales are VERY high stakes. You need that money to live, and that’s exactly where I was.
For two, I invested in myself. I know that not everyone is there yet, but I can tell 2015 me that, without a doubt, every investment she made helped ME get where I am today.
