Here are my top tips for reaching a whole new level of digital product sales in 2021.

1 | Just write it down.

Seriously, this seems so simple. But do it. Write down the amount of $$ you want to make from your digital product sales in 2021. Is it $10,000? $104,000? $1 million? (insert Dr. Evil pinky) Maybe it’s not even a financial goal — maybe you want to be able to sleep in every day because you work less with clients, or getting featured on your favorite lifestyle mag. Set it. Declare it. 

2 | Break it down.

Take that number you just declared, and divide it by 12. That’s how much you need to make a MONTH — at least on average — to hit your goal. If you want to make $10,000 over the year, that $833.33 each month.

3 | Make a plan to market it.

That $833.33 per month goal isn’t gonna hit itself. Are you going to promote it on social? Create a shop page for it? Share it via newsletter? Host a sale? Figure out what you’re doing each month to really get the word out and sell more. 

4 | Find the resources that will help you hit those dang goals.

I’ve sold a few digital products in my day (OK so it’s over 6,000 now), and I’ve learned a lot about how selling digital download products differ from selling other products. Even courses! I also know that you want to build a digital shop that works like an ATM, so knowing how to really sell your digital products consistently is critical.
